REGULAR MEMBER

    A regular member is one who is a:

  • 1. Homeowner and/or permanently residing within the area of operation;
  • 2. Regular employee and/or having business within the area of operation with valid permit from government regulatory agencies;
  • 3. At least 18 years old and in good health upon membership;
  • 4. Minimum of Four Thousand Pesos (Php 4,000.00) subscribed share capital;
  • 5. An Associate member may be considered for regular membership if he/she meets the minimum requirements of regular membership, continues to patronize the cooperative for two (2) consecutive years, and signifies his/her intention to be considered as a regular member.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

    An associate member is one who is:

  • 1. A former regular member, tenant, contractual employee, doing business or not permanently residing within the area of operation;
  • 2. A pensioner and without severe illnesses;
  • 3. A stay-in household helper within the area of operation;
  • 4. A contractual employee of the Cooperative;
  • 5. With a minimum of One Thousand Pesos (Php 1,000.00) subscribed share capital.

LABORATORY COOPERATIVE MEMBER

A Laboratory Cooperative Member is a minor who is part of a Laboratory Cooperative organized under the guidance of a guardian cooperative (DACCO MPC). These members are not yet qualified to become regular or associate members of a regular cooperative but are given the opportunity to learn cooperative values and practices at an early age.

Who Can Be a Laboratory Cooperative Member?

  • Must be a minor, typically between 5 to 17 years old;
  • Willing to learn and participate in the activities of the laboratory cooperative;
  • With parental or guardian consent;
  • Often a student in a school-based or community-based setting.
