Membership Types
Regular Member
A regular member is one who is a:
- Homeowner and/or permanently residing within the area of operation;
- Regular employee and/or having business within the area of operation with valid permit from government regulatory agencies;
- At least 18 years old and in good health upon membership;
- Minimum of Four Thousand Pesos (Php 4,000.00) subscribed share capital;
- An Associate member may be considered for regular membership if he/she meets the minimum requirements of regular membership, continues to patronize the cooperative for two (2) consecutive years, and signifies his/her intention to be considered as a regular member.
Associate Member
An associate member is one who is:
- A former regular member, tenant, contractual employee, doing business or not permanently residing within the area of operation;
- A pensioner and without severe illnesses;
- A stay-in household helper within the area of operation;
- A contractual employee of the Cooperative;
- With a minimum of One Thousand Pesos (Php 1,000.00) subscribed share capital.
Laboratory Member
Who Can Be a Laboratory Cooperative Member?
- Must be a minor, typically between 5 to 17 years old;
- Willing to learn and participate in the activities of the laboratory cooperative;
- With parental or guardian consent;
- Often a student in a school-based or community-based setting.
